XP Awarded: 465 (Deivon), 550 (Signore), 593 (Gob, Kiria)

Start: The Sandpoint glassworks, two weeks after the raid.

Kiria arrives at the cathedral and finds Father Zantus with Deivon. He briefly explains that the party has found goblins in the glassworks and that his companions are wounded, and the three hurry back to the glassworks. Once there, Father Zantus uses his magic to heal everyone's wounds, and talks to the party about what they will do next. It is agreed that he will go inform the mayor while the adventurers explore the rest of the glassworks to clear out any remaining goblins. Deivon is posted at the top of the stairs that lead into the cellars, to guard against additional goblins arriving.

After exploring the rest of the glassworks, the party has found plenty of the goblins' handiwork (in terms of broken glass, looted food, and signs of a fight against the workers), but no additional goblins. With Gob in the lead, the adventurers cautiously enter the dimly-lit cellars. At the bottom of the stairs, the group sees a pile of smashed brickwork at the mouth of one tunnel, but proceeds down the other. As Gob rounds a corner, he comes face-to-face with a pair of goblins. Deivon and Signore react quickly, rounding the corner and killing the goblins. A third goblin hidden behind crates further back in the cellars flees down a side passage. Gob chases, but the goblin has moved out of sight. He sees a passageway with some closed doors. The party spends some time investigating a darkened supply room before they find an open doorway where the goblin has fled.

Inside waits a half-elf (Tsuto Kaijitsu) with a bow and a second goblin. The adventurers cluster around the doorway, but Tsuto comes charging out the doorway and strikes Deivon hard with his bare fists. A brief struggle follows, and in the end Tsuto is knocked unconscious, one goblin is killed, and the other flees down a darkened tunnel.

The adventurers find Tsuto's journal and a few other items, and inside a locked room find an unconscious Ameiko, bound and gagged. After she is freed, she explains that Tsuto had joined a band of mercenaries led by Nualia, the daughter of the town's former priest, based at Thistletop. Everyone thought Nualia had died in the fire that burned down the church and killed her father, the well-regarded priest Tobyn. Tsuto had explained to Ameiko that Nualia has big plans for Sandpoint, and that Ameiko doesn't want to be in Sandpoint when those plans come through. When Tsuto offered Ameiko a chance to join his group at Thistletop, Ameiko slapped him, and Tsuto ordered his goblins to beat her unconscious.

Ameiko is very upset when told of her father's fate, but takes the news calmly. The party piles up rubble in front of the door that leads to the darkened tunnel to block it, then head upstairs to get Ameiko healed by Father Zantus. At the top of the cellar stairs, Mayor Devrin has arrived with a contingent of town guards. After the party explains what happened to her, she has her guards take Ameiko to get healed, put Tsuto in jail, and guard the tunnel in the basement. She advises the party to get cleaned up and rested.

Once the party had had a chance to do that, they investigate Tsuto's journal and find much useful information. The small, leather-bound booklet of a few dozen parchment pages contains many maps of Sandpoint. The first set of maps are attack plans for a force of about thirty goblins, with one circled that the party recognizes as the attack made by the goblins at the Swallowtail festival. After this circled plan is an interesting journal entry.

The second set of Sandpoint maps seem to be plans for an attack by a force of two hundred goblins. Several are crossed out as if rejected, but none are circled. After this set of maps is a worrying journal entry. Throughout the journal are scattered erotic drawings of Nualia. The last page in the journal depicts her with demonic claws, bat wings, horns, a forked tail, and fangs, and contains a curious journal entry.
