Elvisa is a Shoanti woman, the last surviving member of her clan of the Skoan-Quah tribe. She has forged her body as a living weapon, following the traditions of her warrior ancestors. Following the tragedy of her family's destruction, she left the Cinderlands to roam Varisia. During her travels she befriended several companions, including the half-orc Garrick. Eventually arriving in Magnimar, one of her friends was slain during the series of ritualistic murders haunting the city. Swearing revenge, she (and the remainder of her group, by now reduced to Garrick) was soon hired by the city council as a bounty hunter to track down the assassins who had killed the city's high judge. Swiftly capturing the assassins (Gob and Kiria), Elvisa learned that the city government itself was infiltrated by the agents of the dark power behind the spate of murders. Vowing to bring this dark power to justice before fulfilling her bounty hunter contract, Elvisa joined forces with Gob and Kiria and helped to slay the giant snake-woman behind the killings. She has continued to travel with the party ever since.
